Answer: There is a really cheap condominium in the downtown Cancun area outside of the normal tourist traps, but close enough to the buses and the hotel zone. The name is Coconut Inn and it is located on a street name Avenida Labna. Most of the taxi drivers and airport buses know where it is. Call in advance - the local number is 84-01-93. The owner speaks english - $ and there is enough space for at least four people in the condo. There a two double beds, a fridge, a hot plate, a small livingroom/diningroom area and a bathroom. It is very clean - there is daily maid service. You will meet travelers from all over the world. It is very quiet and in a very safe area. Good luck and have a great time.
