The Caribbean is not easy to figure out - some are way more expensive than others. Yet some that are supposed to be expensive will have camp grounds with 4-6 people tents - cook out facilities - bathrooms and possibly showers - and for campers fairly convenient. Often on most all islands with accommodations if you get out of the main town there is a second or third town in size that has much more reasonable accommodations. Some of the islands have structures over 150 years old. Some islands have direct flights from Europe and the native language could be French, Dutch, Spanish, or English - or any combination of these. Almost all local airports have a tourist information office at the airport - but not all of these give out accommodation information. Not all airports have bus public transportation to/from them. All have taxi transportation - some airports the taxi fare is government sign posted and regulated.

Accommodation - there are hotels, rooms in older houses, expensive and inexpensive cottages, small studio apartments, and camping with and without tents supplied - with and without bathing and cooking facilities -
